Garden Tea Party

Howdy Tea Friends! I just flew in from Dallas, Texas this afternoon after spending a few days there for my son's college graduation. My heart overflows with pride and joy! I will share more about that later in my next post. I didn't want to miss out on all our Tuesday Tea Parties, so today I will share with you a post I did about the same time last year. I know it's a repeat, but I hope you enjoy it just the same!

Won't you join me in our courtyard by the fountain? Tea is ready and I have a seat waiting just for you.

This silver and glass dish is one of my latest finds. Just $1.25. Do you take lemon with your tea?

I chose this teapot because it just seems to shout out Spring! It sits atop a teapot warmer I found in Old Town Temecula. Would you care for Almond Vanilla tea, Chocolate Mint, or a Caramel Coconut Rooibos?

The Apple Streusel coffee cake is moist and delicious.

Come, little cottage girl, you seem
To want a cup of tea;
And will you take a little cream?
Now tell the truth to me.

She had a rustic, woodland grin
Her cheek was soft as silk,
And she replied, "Sir, please, put in
A little drop of milk."

Thanks for dropping by the Lace and Ivy Cottage. Have a blessed day!

Your tea party looked so fun! I am starting to collect teasets as well for my own children. I can't wait to do something similar in the next few weeks.

I'm graduating Elem Ed this May, so I won't be able to any elaborate group tablescapes soon, but I can't wait! Your daughter is just adorable and your lantana just flooded me with great childhood memories... Salamat, Lorna!

Your darling daughter is such a cutie, Lorna. Congrats on your son who just graduated. I can imagine your overwhelming feeling of pride and joy. Your tea table is so adorable. I just picked up an idea from it. I have a similar silver server you used for the lemons but mine came with a spoon so I was going to use it for jelly. But now, I can switch the spoon with a fork and use it for lemons too. Thanks!...Christine
